Mikael Genberg is the artist, innovator and entrepreneur who questions common perceptions of creative processes, successes and failures in a disarming, entertaining way, leaving the audience with a smile on their face and the thought that tomorrow will be the day. Mikael Genberg has a background as a traditional artist but expanded his vision to combine artistry with entrepreneurship and projects that no one thought possible. The Treehouse Hotel Woodpecker, the Utter Inn underwater hotel, the Ooops hotel, the Zanzibar underwater hotel and the Closette Chameleon are some of his unique creations. Not to mention the red house with white knots on Globen that became a popular tourist attraction in Stockholm. His most grandiose project is to put a red house with white knots on the moon! A project that has taken a long time but is now moving rapidly towards completion. A central part of Genberg's projects has always been to find forms of collaboration with complementary skills.
